About The Position

The Camps & Clinics Associate position is responsible for on-field coaching for MNUFC Youth Camps & Clinics, assisting with the organization and execution of age-appropriate Camps & Clinics throughout the Twin Cities, State of MN, and surrounding area. This position will allow you to merge a passion for coaching and community, while promoting your career growth in professional sports. This part-time seasonal role (May – September) is based in Blaine, MN and reports to the Head of Youth Camps & Clinics.

Requirements

Previous coaching experience in youth soccer
18 years of age or older
Ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs. and stay active throughout training sessions
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
Ability to work up to 28 hours per week (May – September)
Ability to travel locally up to 10%
Applicant must be able to comply with MLS Next Safety and Well-Being policies and guidelines
Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Responsibilities

Lead engaging on-field coaching for Youth Camps & Clinics and Pre-Academy programs, creating a fun, inclusive, and development focused environment
Design and lead age-appropriate training sessions aligned with Club methodology, emphasizing skill development, teamwork, and confidence building
Support Academy Coaches by helping implement the Club’s playing philosophy and coaching standards during training sessions and events
Serve as a positive ambassador for the Club, providing a welcoming and professional experience for participants and their families
Coordinate and support all on-site logistics for camps and training sessions, including setup, execution, and breakdown of fields and equipment
Assist with camp preparation and operations, such as organizing apparel, managing equipment, and pick-up/drop-off processes
