The Sales Outfitter performs various selling and customer service activities, including greeting and acknowledging all customers, handling merchandise with care, and providing information, assistance, and direction. This role is crucial for maintaining a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensuring a pleasant and productive shopping experience. Responsibilities include demonstrating products, replenishing shelves according to merchandising guidelines, staying updated as a product expert through training, and being knowledgeable about advertised sales, pricing, and signage. The outfitter also assists with seasonal floor merchandise moves, restocks merchandise, keeps their work area clean and stocked, and adheres to all company policies and procedures. A key part of the role is to provide a legendary customer experience by identifying and evaluating customer needs, making product recommendations, and promoting programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
