As a Campground Front Desk Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for our guests at Kings Dominion. This seasonal position requires you to operate the reservations system effectively, which includes making reservations via telephone or in person, checking guests in and out, and processing deposits and other payments. You will need to become familiar with the various site types and amenities we offer to ensure you can provide accurate information to guests. Proficiency in basic phone and computer skills, as well as paperwork filing and communication, is essential for this role. In addition to handling reservations, you will be proactive in monitoring bookings to honor guest requests and stay updated on any changes or updates related to daily operations. Basic math skills, particularly in addition and subtraction, are necessary for handling transactions accurately. You will also be responsible for greeting guests and assisting them with their reservation needs, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. The role may require you to stand for extended periods and perform other minor to moderate tasks as assigned by your supervisor. This position requires flexibility, as you will need to work nights, weekends, and holidays to meet the business needs of the campground. You will also be subject to a mandatory drug test and a background check, which may include credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, in accordance with company policy.
