About The Position

The Campground Event Coordinator/Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for coordinating all campground events while overseeing the daily operations of food and beverage services and pool staff. This hybrid role ensures exceptional guest experiences through well-planned activities, high-quality food service, effective staff management, and efficient operational oversight. Reports directly to Food and Beverage Director.

Requirements

  • Experience in hospitality, event planning, and F&B management.
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple duties.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift moderate weight and stand for extended periods.

  • ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a seasonal calendar of events, themed weekends, and recreational activities.
  • Plan, organize, and execute events from concept to completion.
  • Coordinate with vendors, entertainers, food trucks, etc.
  • Promote events using social media, newsletters, signage, and campground communication channels.
  • Oversee event setup, breakdown, and equipment management.
  • Monitor participation, gather guest feedback, and make improvements.
  • Ensure all events meet safety, regulatory, and campground standards.
  • Manage and coordinate pool staff, focusing on labor cost, employee standards and guest safety.
  • Lead day-to-day F&B operations including 5th Wheel Cafe, Grab and Go, Tiki Bar/cabanas, or event dining.
  • Hire, train, schedule, and supervise F&B staff.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage menus, specials, and food service coordination for events and onsite dining.
  • Oversee inventory, ordering, vendor relationships, equipment maintenance, and stock levels.
  • Monitor food and labor costs, reduce waste, and meet financial targets.
  • Maintain quality control standards for food preparation and service.
  • Address and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain positive, service-focused interactions with guests and staff.
  • Support overall campground operations during peak periods as needed.
  • Maintain activity areas, kitchens, storage spaces, and equipment in good working order.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
