About The Position

We are seeking energetic, passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to play a key role for the position of part-time permanent Campground Coordinator 2 within the Division of Parks & Watercraft, headquartered at Delaware State Park in Delaware County. This is a permanent part-time position budgeted for 1700 hours per fiscal year (approximately 32 hours per week). This position will be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Formal education in arithmetic that includes multiplication, division, fractions, decimals & percentages
• 3 months training or 3 months experience in bookkeeping
• 3 months training or 3 months experience in first aid techniques
• 9 months training or 9 months experience in operation & maintenance of park equipment & vehicles
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Coordinate campground & marina operations at Delaware State Park
• Serve as a lead worker over retail, campground & marina personnel
• Assist visitors with disputes, questions, inquiries
• Assist with administrative duties, as needed
• Coordinate & handle special events & programs

Benefits

• Starting hourly pay of $21.97/hr. with multiple pay increases over your first 6.5 years of service, with an end salary of $26.72/hr.
