Staples is seeking an experienced Customer Data Platform Campaign Manager to join our Staples Marketing Sciences & Operations team. This role will focus on managing segments and customer journeys through our Customer Data Platform, the central hub for all omnichannel marketing planning, execution and reporting. The Customer Data Platform is one of many growth areas connected with Staples ongoing digital transformation. The Marketing Sciences & Operations team manages Customer Intelligence, Consumer Insights, Data Sciences, Marketing Operations, Marketing Effectiveness, and Lead Management for Staples B2B and B2C customers. The Manager, Customer Data Platform (CDP) Campaign is responsible for the setup and execution of marketing campaigns using the CDP. This role focuses segment building, customer journey creation and orchestration across multiple channels to deliver personalized and effective marketing campaigns. Acting as a bridge between marketing strategy, data activation, and technology execution, the Campaign Manager ensures campaigns are data-driven, timely, and aligned with business objectives.

  • Manage segments and customer journeys through the Customer Data Platform (CDP).
  • Setup and execute marketing campaigns using CDP tools, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with marketing goals.
  • Conduct A/B testing and optimize campaigns based on performance metrics.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing insights for optimization and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Sales, and IT/Engineering to align campaign strategies and achieve common goals.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in Marketing and Sales Technology.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, related field or equivalent work history.
  • 7+ years of marketing experience.
  • 1+ year of experience in CDP (Customer Data Platform) campaign operations.
  • Deep understanding of Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and marketing technologies (e.g., Hightouch, Action IQ, Treasure Data, Adobe Experience Platform, Twilio Segment, Salesforce Data Cloud).
  • Proven track record of operating a Customer Data Platform and related technologies to support personalized marketing scenarios.
  • Familiarity with SQL or query tools for audience creation.
  • Experience integrating CDP campaigns with platforms like Salesforce, Adobe, Google Marketing Platform, etc.
  • Knowledge of customer privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) as they apply to marketing campaigns.
  • Certification in marketing automation or CDP platforms is a plus.
