About The Position

The Campaign Fundraising Specialist at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is a temporary role focused on logistics, data management, and coordination for fundraising campaigns aimed at exceeding revenue goals for cancer research and patient support. This position involves working closely with various teams to ensure successful fundraising events and effective communication of LLS's mission.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 1-3 years of experience in fundraising or event management
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to supervise groups of volunteers
• Demonstrated knowledge of digital and social media channels
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a non-profit organization
• Familiarity with CRM and fundraising systems

Responsibilities

• Partner with Education Services and Health Research department to communicate LLS's mission and programs.
• Act as an on-site manager during fundraising events, overseeing activities, staff, vendors, and volunteers.
• Oversee logistics, timelines, and operational elements for assigned fundraising campaigns.
• Provide input into the development of strategic plans for peer-to-peer fundraising products, including revenue, budget, goals, and timelines.
• Manage expense budgets related to logistics.
• Research and recommend event venues and locations based on campaign standards.
• Work with assigned peer-to-peer fundraising teams to achieve revenue goals.
• Collaborate with Volunteer Coordinator and local relationship teams.
• Manage data entry to ensure CRM and fundraising systems are accurate and up-to-date.
• Connect with vendors to secure the best rates or in-kind donations of services.
