About The Position

Camp store supervisors play a pivotal role in overseeing retail operations, coordinating shipping, receiving, setting up displays, and helping customers and welcome center staff during business hours. Their responsibility extends to maximizing the overall efficiency of the store operation, encompassing food and beverage outlets and goods. Seasonal roles are not eligible for health benefits. Manage different departments within the store including the Café. Complete Food Handling and ABC Manager certifications Develop pricing strategies, regularly assessing costs, and adjust. Establish daily promotional strategies by implementing coupons, sales, and discounts. Enhance store presentation by keeping organized and well stocked displays, ensuring a neat and fully stocked appearance. Find current and future trends that appeal to consumers and are relevant to camping. Maintain inventory to guarantee item availability, ensuring stock levels are kept. Ensure accuracy, prompt completion, and submission of monthly inventory reports. Verify promotions' accuracy and proper presentation according to company and brand standards. Utilize technology to record sales data for analysis and planning. Uphold store cleanliness and adhere to health and safety measures. Operate register functions and adequately open/close out at the end of each day. Ensure the property is clean, orderly, well-manicured, and guest-ready at all times, including the outside patio area of the café. Schedule varies to cover opening and closing shifts along with weekday and weekends. Performs other duties as assigned. WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH The Camp Store Supervisor reports to the Assistant General Manager, works closely with the retail and café team and directly with the guests. WHAT YOU BRING High School diploma or enrolled to achieve degree. 1-3 years’ work experience in retail sales and operations with a proven history of meeting and exceeding store sales and operations targets and goals Knowledge in the Food and Beverage industry (preferred) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This role requires lifting, standing long periods, bending, sitting, listening, reading, etc. The hospitality environment is fast-paced, and you may be required to cover or assist with tasks/job functions outside of the job you were hired for. We need each of our team members to have an All-Hands-On-Deck mindset. This means you may be tasked with other functions and are expected to complete those tasks with the same enthusiasm and dedication as scheduled with your regular job duties.
