About The Position
In search of: Certified nurses OR current nursing students to fill the position of Camp Nurse at YMCA Camp Tippecanoe. Responsibilities: Administer first aid & emergency care Medication distribution and management Register & health screen campers at check-in Organization & management of medical records Parent communication involving health, wellness, and care of campers Manage & maintain Health Center and first aid supplies Active part of camp community by monitoring daily activites Interaction with campers age 7-17 & staff ages 18 and older Children in household encouraged to attend camp
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Nursing certification from accredited organization
- Nursing students are welcomed to apply
- CPR/First Aid/AED certifications required
- Pass background check & finger prints
- Attend orientation & required trainings for camp
- Ability to work all 9 weeks for SUMMER 2026 - June to Early August
