The Camp Experience Content Creator reports to the Activities Manager and serves as the memory-keeper of camp. This role is responsible for capturing photos and videos of daily camp life, highlighting special moments across camp, and sharing those experiences with families and the broader community. The Camp Experience Content Creator manages content on our parent-sharing app Band, contributes to camp social media platforms such as Instagram, and ensures families feel connected to their camper’s experience. As a full member of the camp team, the Camp Experience Content Creator lives onsite at Camp Lakota, actively participating in camp life and supporting the counselor team. They collaborate closely with their assigned head counselor, co-counselors, and the wider camp staff—including counselors, activities staff, and property staff—to authentically document and share the camp story while upholding the spirit of Girl Scouts. GSGLA Lakota Overnight Camp The Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles Camp Lakota is a state of the art, recently updated residential camp. Located just 90 miles from downtown Los Angeles, this premier camp site will host a full summer camp season. The camp will focus on providing a stand-out girl-led experience for campers of all ages and communities across our 6,272 square mile footprint. The camp offers a variety of specialty activities including a high ropes challenge course, horseback riding, swimming, and archery.
