The City of Alpharetta is accepting applications for the seasonal position of Camp Director. The purpose of this position is to assist with the organizing and supervising of the day-to-day operation of the summer camp program. The Camp Director reports to the Camp Manager, Program Coordinator, and Supervisor at the Alpharetta Community Center. The Camp Director would need to be available to work from May 27 - August 1. The Camp Directors may be required to work the months before camp sporadically helping with inventory, camp planning, and staff interviews. Under the general supervision of the Camp Manager, the Camp Director will be responsible for the daily operation of the specific camp they are assigned to. Activity areas include indoor and outdoor games, swimming, sports, fitness activities, arts and crafts, on-site enrichment programs, and field trips; as well as group lunches and snack time, pre/post camp care.
