About The Position

The Camp Counselor position at Easterseals Southeast Wisconsin involves providing support and care to participants during a one-week spring break camp. Requirements

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs.
• Ability to administer medication as per guidelines.

• Knowledge of infection control procedures.

Nice To Haves

• First aid and CPR certification.
• Experience in recreational programming or activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with medication administration according to physician's directives.
• Provide personal care services including toileting, bathing, and feeding.
• Interact with participants in a respectful and culturally appropriate manner.
• Monitor activities to ensure the safety of each participant.
• Report any cases of illness or suspected abuse immediately.
• Prepare and oversee feeding activities, including tube feeding.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of program areas and equipment.
• Participate in safety training and emergency drills.
