Yellowstone Club’s Outdoor Pursuits Kids department is currently seeking candidates for a Camp Counselor for this upcoming Summer season! Our Summer employment months are June - September. This position is responsible for guiding and teaching children in the summer camp programs and overnight trips. The age group ranges are 4-7 and 8+. Aspects for this job require teaching environmental education, outdoor survival and recreation skills, teamwork, and a love for nature and conservation in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Subjects include outdoor safety, camping skills, children’s games, ice breakers; leave no trace ethics, local flora and fauna, hiking, and fun. It is important for the summer camp counselors to have a strong enthusiasm for exploring nature with children. In addition, the summer camp counselors MUST be comfortable taking kids ages 5+ camping in the wilderness on private and group trips as well as engaging in activities such as, but not limited to kayaking, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, hiking, and zip-lining. This is a seasonal position. Applications and hiring for this role won't start until early spring.
