About The Position
The Shady Grove Family YMCA is currently seeking part time positive role models to help run our Kinder Camp! This part time position starts at $15.00 per hour. Requirements
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old
- Have experience working with children
- Candidates must work well with young people
- Be able to multitask
- Communicate effectively with parents and children
Nice To Haves
- A degree in a related field is preferred but not required for counselors
Responsibilities
- Providing an engaging camp experience for children ages 3-6
- Assisting with crafts, games, outdoor play, set up and clean up
- Assist with purchasing supplies for camp and oversee implementation of the Y mission and cause by modeling our core values
- Assist supervisors with daily camp activity
