A Camp Coordinator is responsible for the overall logistics of the summer day camp program at a site. Camp Coordinators serve as the liaison of the program’s needs and information to parents, community members, school administration, and staff. Camp Coordinators inspire and coordinate daily camp schedules while ensuring a safe, fun, and positive environment for campers and staff. They oversee the daily program’s operations and ensure that all staff are equipped and ready to run a successful day camp program. They supervise assistant camp coordinators, community liaisons, and club leaders who will supervise 10-20 campers daily. They also manage staff schedules and daily enrichment offerings. The Camp Coordinator position is an on-site position, including attending training at the Woodcraft Rangers main office in Little Tokyo and school sites.
