For 80 years, we have been one of upstate New York’s largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities. Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere. We are searching for an Aquatics Director for Camp Spectacular to join our agency. This position is based out of Clover Patch Camp in Glenville, NY. This is a day camp for children aged 7-16 with Asperger's, High Functioning Autism, and PDD-NOS. The Aquatics Director is responsible for the operations of the pool and programming in accordance to the Department of Health and American Camping Association as well as providing life guarding coverage. This is a part time position approximately 20 per week The Aquatics Director oversees all swimming activities that occur at swimming pools and bathing beaches operated as part of a camp for children and adults. This person supervises lifeguards, progressive swimming instructors, and counselors with bather supervision responsibilities during swimming activities. Also responsible for implementation of the camp safety plan.
