We welcome all that share those values to apply. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Assists in the daily implementation of programs and activities. Helps maintain a comfortable environment for the safety, health and well-being of participants. Assists with planning and coordination of activities, including set up and clean up. Helps lead children through a variety of activities including organized sports, swimming, weekly field trips, arts and crafts, and games. Helps process enrollments and registrations for students. Collects payments. May communicate with parents regarding their children daily during drop off and pick up. Follows established safety practices. Administers First Aid and performs CPR if necessary. Cleans, sanitizes and organizes classroom. Must complete fifteen (15) training hours annually. Camps that you may be assisting with in this position: Gold Medal Camps – different sport each week Rock Rec Camp – Arts and crafts/swimming/hiking/games/trampolines Multi-Sport Camp – play different sports each day + swimming/trampolines Great Outdoors Camp – hikes/biking/zipline/challenge hill/Sky Trek/Adventure Tower Minimum Qualifications: An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered. Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years of age Licenses and/or Certifications Required: Current CPR, First Aid, Standard Precautions, and Medication Administration Certifications required or ability to obtain such certifications upon hire Must meet appropriate Aid requirements/qualifications and provide all documentation as required by the State of Colorado’s Department of Human Services upon hire Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Skill in oral communications for effective expression and clarity. Skill in performing CPR and First Aid. Ability to respond to parent and child concerns with considerable tact and courtesy. Must satisfactorily complete a criminal background check including Colorado Bureau of Investigations and TRAILS/Central Registry criminal record review as required by the Colorado Department of Social Services prior to commencing employment.
