About The Position

The Camera Technician at Sonic Systems International is responsible for providing on-site support for technology equipment during nuclear outages. This role involves maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting equipment used for obtaining imagery, ensuring accurate documentation and interaction with various personnel in a technical environment.

Requirements

• Experience in the maintenance and repair of instrumentation.
• Soldering experience.
• Experience with analog and digital electronic troubleshooting.
• Ability to utilize computers, high voltage/low-current power supplies, and other test equipment.
• Excellent record of dependability, availability, attendance, and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Clean background with no outstanding/pending legal charges.
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test at time of hire and random testing.
• Valid driver's license.
• U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for technology equipment during nuclear outages.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot equipment used to obtain imagery.
• Support the test, evaluation, maintenance, and calibration processes for fixed camera equipment.
• Maintain accurate computerized and written calibration records and other pertinent documentation.
• Interact with operations, radiation protection team members, management, and other personnel.
