Our venue boasts a full calendar of events including concerts, comedy shows, family shows, sporting events, banquets, conventions, trade shows, meetings, and more. With the attached Convention Center and Arena, we are the largest venue between Omaha and Fargo, and from Minneapolis to Denver. A camera operator is responsible for setting up, operating and tearing down camera equipment for scoreboard video production.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of related experience and/or training
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills
  • Good written and verbal skills
  • Demonstrate problem-solving and communication skills
  • Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic
  • Ability to work under limited supervision and interact with all levels of staff including management
  • Ability to work long and irregular hours that may vary due to functions and may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have the physical ability to maneuver around facility, and at times, walking and/or standing for up to 8-10 hours daily.
  • Occasionally it may be required to kneel, climb to high walkways or balance and lift up to and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Setup camera equipment before events.
  • Operate camera under direction of Sr. Video Operator.
  • Responsible for returning equipment to storage as directed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
