We are the Image Quality team in Video Engineering and are responsible for video quality on iPhone/iPad, Mac products and Vision Pro RGB camera quality testing! We are seeking an outstanding Camera Image Quality Lab Engineer who has a good understanding of lab image quality test automation and real world image quality verification to help us deliver the best camera image quality to the world.

Requirements

• Strong image/video photography skills.
• Experience and proficiency in C/C++.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Work in a lab environment for camera video quality testing.
• Understand image quality performance metrics and incubate new test methodologies.
• Develop a robust and reliable automation framework to measure performance results.
• Conduct real world camera image quality verification, identify algorithm bugs, and perform initial analysis and triaging.
• Collaborate with the development team to design test strategies for video features in camera products.
• Participate in quality evaluations for new features and algorithms through experimental studies in the lab and field.
• Summarize findings and present to cross-functional teams, including executive demos.
