About The Position

The seamless integration of software and hardware has led to features like Center Stage Camera, Night Mode, Live Photos, Apple ProRAW, Portrait Mode, and many others, which deliver magical experiences that surprise and delight our customers. The Camera Foundation team in Software Engineering is at the heart of the Camera Framework stack and provides the APIs and real-time multithreaded media pipeline powering clients like iOS's built-in Camera application, thousands of third-party applications, and even AR-based experiences. As a Photo Capture and Processing engineer, you'll work side-by-side with the world-class engineers that built iPhone's camera to what it is today, developing and extending our concurrent real-time capture and processing pipeline and building new great camera capabilities spanning the universe of Apple devices. Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of real-time systems behavior.
• Experience with concurrent processing.
• Familiarity with performance- and memory-sensitive environments.
