About The Position

The Cambodian Bilingual Interpreter position at CyraCom involves providing skilled consecutive interpretation services in a variety of settings, including medical, legal, and social services. Requirements

• Fluency in English and the target language (Cambodian).
• Skilled at communicating both orally and in writing in English and the target language.
• Basic understanding of linguistics and different cultures.
• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and exercise initiative within company policies and procedures.
• Exceptional commitment to confidentiality as per CyraCom Interpreter policies.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in medical, legal, or social services interpreting.
• Knowledge of additional languages.
• Previous experience in a customer service role.

Responsibilities

• Provides meaning-for-meaning interpreting.
• Follows CyraCom's interpreter protocols as per training, policies, and procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality according to CyraCom Interpreter policies.
• Attends all required training for interpreters.
• Continuously improves vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge for various clients.
• Uses standard office equipment such as telephones, computers, copiers, and fax machines.
• Utilizes MS Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Edge.
