We are seeking a CAM/ Proposal and Program Support Specialist with strong analytical and technical skills to drive effective forecasting and planning. In this role, you will extract and analyze historical cost and schedule data from program databases to identify trends, anomalies, and patterns. You will develop and maintain cost models to support program phasing and budget planning, collaborating closely with Program Managers, Engineering, and Finance teams to translate data into accurate budget estimates for internal and external stakeholders. You will support proposal activities, including analyzing historical data, organizing and collecting program input as well as collaboring with proposal teams on solutions.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience). Requires an additional 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of job-related experience.
  • CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
  • A Bachelor’s of Science or Technology degree, a related specialized area or field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Project knowledge is a bonus).
  • Ability to analyze and interpret cost, schedule, and performance data.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and concepts like CAM, CDRL/ELIN tracking, and CEAC support.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced knowledge of Agile concepts and tools like JIRA.
  • Experience creating cost models and budget estimates from historical data.
  • Leadership qualities and a drive to deliver on commitments.
  • Familiarity with staffing demand and workload forecasting for engineering or program management.
  • Proven ability to identify trends, build reports, and visualize performance data.

Responsibilities

  • Program Support Specialist will serve as the Control Account Manager (CAM) for assigned projects, overseeing the financial performance and ensuring alignment with project goals
  • Develop and manage control account plans, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to support project decision-making
  • Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards
  • Monitor project financial performance, identify trends, anomalies, and patterns to support forecasting and planning
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to ensure financial alignment and support project execution
  • Extract and analyze historical cost/schedule actuals from program databases to support CAM and proposal activities
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and government contracting regulations
