The Call-In Physician will provide clinical collaboration and support of total worker health and wellbeing to Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants under the direction of Marathon's Corporate Medical Director and according to applicable state laws and regulations and the requirements of the Marathon Petroleum Company. The physician will provide no less than 2-hours of onsite clinical support per month at Component clinics. If applicable state law requires more than 2-hours of on-site presence, the physician will comply with the required amount. The physician will conduct mentoring and educational activities at least once per month consisting of teaching, scientific updates, clinical skills development, and subject matter expertise for health and wellbeing through periodic educational presentations at Component clinics and work sites. The physician may also conduct physician-specific examinations/evaluations not able to be completed by the on-site provider. The physician will review no fewer than 3 patient medical records per month. If applicable state law requires more than 3 records per month, the physician will comply with the required amount. The physician will meet with the NP/PA to review findings and action plans in support of total worker health. The physician will complete and provide required documentation to Corporate Medical Director monthly and as required.

Requirements

  • Medical Doctoral/Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree.
  • Completion of medical residency program in Occupational Medicine or Family/Internal Medicine.
  • Five (5) years experience in worker wellbeing, total health & wellness, in a manufacturing or oil & gas environment preferred.
  • Unrestricted US medical license.
