Visit us online at https://bhconnections.org Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Atlanta GA is seeking a dynamic and talented Call Center Specialist Part Time to work Day Shifts in the team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The Call Center Specialist performs administrative functions to include assistance in the processes for managing patient care by monitoring referrals and connecting them to relevant health care providers. Organizing, facilitating, and coordinating the timely evaluation with therapist and the acceptance of patients referred for services, insurance verification and data entry.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
Nice To Haves
- Preferred Associate Degree
- Preferred 1-3 years work related experience
- Prefer knowledge of crisis intervention and risk assessment, psychiatric diagnoses symptomology, basic chemical dependency, age specific growth and development and crisis and behavior management.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming calls at BHC Call Center, obtain demographic information and dispatches Remote Assessor and collaborates for next steps in patient care
- Triage calls and facilities referrals to appropriate
- Data entry in multiple platforms such as SharePoint, Xferall, Rovicare, Concord, etc.
- Document all pertinent patient information accurately in charting system approved by BHC
- Coordinates and facilitates the transfer of patients with behavioral health needs
