About The Position

Performs diversified secretarial duties supporting management and/or a physician. This is a call center position, candidates must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and answering a heavy amount of phone calls. Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm Location: Melville-Hybrid schedule, candidates must be able to report to office as needed Training: 4-6 weeks, no absences/lateness's allowed during this time frame Start Date: 3/17 or 4/21 depending on clearance Pay Rate: $25/hour

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Prior clerical experience, required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Typing various forms of correspondence
  • Scheduling appointments, meetings, etc.
  • Transmitting various documents using computer, mail, and/or fax
  • Recordkeeping
  • Maintaining files and filing systems
  • Taking meeting minutes
  • Receptionist duties
  • Maintaining office inventory and ordering supplies
  • Performs related duties, as required.
