About The Position

ALS is a leader in the field of clinical testing with an opening for full-time Clinical Recruiter in Purchase, NY. The successful candidate will join a team that provides clinical testing services to many of the world's best-known consumer product companies. The Call Center Representative/Clinical Recruiter 1 has the following duties: Screens panelists for clinical trials over the phone• high call volume experience in a call center or similar environment preferred." • Schedules panelists for clinical trials • Answers incoming phone calls in a prompt and courteous manner, taking detailed messages when necessary• Updates panelist information in the panelist database• Enters new panelist information sheets into panelist database• Sends panelist information sheets to prospective panelists via mail, email and/or fax (this responsibility is shared with Supervisor of Recruiting• Makes reminder calls to panelists • Makes cancellation calls to panelists when needed• Pays owed referral fee(s) to the appropriate person • Performs Receptionist duties as needed• Archives panelists' applications• Assists Supervisor of Recruiting with other tasks assigned• Other duties as may be assigned from time to time Call Center Representative/Clinical Recruiter 1 positions are full time (40 hours per week), onsite, with starting rate of $22.00 per hour. Working conditions: Occasionally required to stand• Occasionally required to walk• Frequently required to sit• Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity• Rarely required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl• Frequently required to talk or hear• Rarely required to taste or smell• Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts • Rarely work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals • While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate • The employee must occasionally lift and /or move more than 25 pounds • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision; Distance vision; Color vision; Peripheral vision; Depth perception and ability to adjust focus• Additional remarks regarding work environment: Job duties require use of telephonic equipment and the ability to verbally communicate, hear verbal communication, and type.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or six months to one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certificates, licenses and registrations required: Current certificate for: Human Protections, Good Clinical Practices, Bloodborne Pathogens
  • Computer skills required: Internet Software, Database (FileMaker Pro), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Email (Microsoft Outlook)
