Heritage Oaks Hospital is part of the UHS Family of Providers which has been highly regarded as an integral part of the greater Sacramento and Northern California mental health system since 1988. Conveniently located in northern Sacramento, Heritage Oaks is a fully accredited, 125-bed acute psychiatric hospital offering a full range of individually tailored treatment services to adolescents, adults, and senior adults, including treatment for substance abuse and chemical dependency issues with drugs and alcohol. The clinician/ nurse of the Call Center assists and directs all Outpatient Call Center employees under the supervision of the Director of Assessment and Referral as necessary. The clinician/nurse will ensure employees respond accordingly to calls by telephone with patients and referral sources, assist with crisis interventions for patients, manage the placement of patients across outpatient sites, and ensure that services are facilitated and coordinated with the Business Office, Utilization Management, and Partial Hospitalization Program/Outpatient Departments. Helps to oversee the operations of the Outpatient Call Center and provide subordinates with timely and appropriate guidance/feedback related to the job performance of Intake Coordinators. Responsible for coordinating with A&R to ensure they are knowledgeable of Outpatient program. Responsible for ensuring accurate data input done by call center. Schedule: M-F, 7:30am - 4pm.
