As an Insurance Agent, your primary responsibility is selling nonstandard auto insurance, though you will have opportunities to grow earnings with additional products such as homeowners insurance and, when applicable, health insurance. You will solicit new business while maintaining strong relationships with current customers to achieve or exceed sales goals. You will connect with customers, understand their needs, and expand business opportunities by offering auto, homeowners, or health insurance solutions. Additionally, you will maintain records of transactions, including deposits and documentation in the agency management system, and establish rapport with clients to provide guidance in choosing the insurance product that fits their needs.
