About The Position

The Call Center Billing Representative will handle inbound calls from Ryder's Platinum National Accounts, Ryder Shops, and On Demand Customers. The primary responsibility is to assist customers with scheduling service for truck and trailer breakdowns, preventive maintenance, and addressing service-related inquiries. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service to enhance the customer experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience, particularly in issue resolution.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

• Experience in accounting, billing, or credit is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and manage inbound calls from customers regarding vehicle breakdowns and service scheduling.
• Assist customers with scheduling preventive maintenance and addressing service-related questions.
• Execute customer communication protocols for vehicle breakdowns and follow up on service requests.
• Coordinate with on-call technicians and rental counter teams to identify repair requirements and available substitute units.
• Process customer service requests on various topics, including billing and warranty inquiries.
• Participate in Quality Assurance reviews and ensure compliance with customer service standards.
• Contribute to a positive work environment and assist in making the call center a great place to work.
