Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact: greet visitors, answer calls, and guide clients and pets to exam rooms.
  • Support the front office team as needed.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments.
  • Place outbound calls for follow-ups and reach out to prospective clients.
  • Present and explain fees, including processing payments.
  • Recommend, select, and obtain products and services, including prescriptions.
  • Educate clients on general animal care and non-medical pet topics (e.g., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, flea & tick control).
  • Manage medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence.
  • Assist with hospital maintenance, including keeping the facility clean and safe inside and outside.
