The Call Center Agent/Medical Assistant role at Parkview Health involves providing excellent customer service by answering incoming calls to assist patients and other contacts related to POHC care.   • Answer incoming calls to assist patients and companies involved in POHC care.
  • Maintain professionalism, courtesy, and confidentiality at all times.
  • Work with team members to achieve call center and organizational goals.
  • Provide quality patient service in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school graduate or equivalent with GED.
  • Enrolled or graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program, or have worked as a medical assistant for 3 of the last 5 years, or have work experience in Parkview Occupational Health for the last 12 months.
  • Experience in understanding the usage of computers, including Microsoft.
  • One year of direct customer service contact experience or both clinical and clerical experience in an occupational or employee health setting preferred.
  • Ability to type 40 WPM with 98% accuracy.
  • Knowledge of clinical and clerical operations, service excellence, and clinical quality initiatives preferred.
  • Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Exhibit quality vocal skills through speech rate, volume, enunciation, and pronunciation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team.
  • Demonstrates the ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
