The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) position at FullShift Staffing, LLC involves working closely with licensed Physical Therapists to assist patients in their recovery and rehabilitation processes. The PTA plays a crucial role in helping patients regain their functional abilities, well-being, and independence following serious illnesses, injuries, or medical events. This role is essential in providing support services that aim to improve strength, restore efficient movement, enhance flexibility, and aid in mobility restoration, particularly after orthopedic injuries, hip fractures, or joint replacement procedures. In this position, the PTA will be responsible for delivering quality patient care under the supervision of licensed therapists. This includes documenting all services provided to ensure accurate and timely billing of therapy services. The PTA must ensure that patient care adheres to the established Plan of Care, aligns with the organization’s guidelines, meets professional standards, and complies with Federal and State regulations. Additionally, the PTA will assist in identifying and developing comprehensive care plans, implementing individualized therapy programs tailored to restore and enhance patient performance. The role may also involve making referrals to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of the patient, ensuring a holistic approach to rehabilitation. The PTA must be adaptable, as other duties and responsibilities may change or be assigned at any time, with or without notice.
