About The Position
Trout Unlimited (TU) seeks a full-time coordinator to help manage the activities of the California Salmon and Steelhead Coalition, a partnership between TU, the Nature Conservancy, and California Trout that focuses on the recovery of native salmon and steelhead on California's north and central coast regions. This position is part of TU's California Water Program, and is based within the San Francisco Bay/ Sacramento/ Sonoma region. TU is a national organization with 300,000 members and supporters organized into over 400 chapters and councils nationwide. These dedicated grassroots volunteers are matched by a respected staff of organizers, lawyers, policy experts, and scientists, who work out of more than 45 offices across the country. Our mission is to conserve, protect, and restore North America's coldwater fisheries and their watersheds.
