About The Position
At PDS Optical, we are committed to delivering exceptional eyewear and outstanding service to our Veterans. We're seeking a California Licensed Optician to join our team at the Visalia, CA VA and help us uphold our mission of providing GREAT Veteran CARE! Position Details: Full-time | Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM No nights or weekends Pay Range: $28--$30/hour
Requirements
- California Optician license required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Skilled in fitting, adjusting, repairing, and selling eyewear.
- Proficient in using lensometers, pupilometers, and computers.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and customer-focused.
Nice To Haves
- Current ABO Certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to Veterans.
- Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
- Work collaboratively to foster a positive and productive environment.
- Comply with security clearance requirements by successfully passing a background check.
