About The Position
As a Calibrator at WIKA Alexander Wiegand SE & Co. KG, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the precision and reliability of mechanical and electronic instruments. Your primary responsibilities will include utilizing calibration software for certificate generation and traceability requirements, performing physical and electronic adjustments to calibrate various types of instruments, including electronic pressure transmitters. You will also be responsible for assembling customer-supplied instruments to diaphragm seal systems, preparing and plumbing assemblies for filling, and executing spot welds as necessary. Your role will require you to use calibration fixtures to mount assemblies to calibration equipment accurately and to inspect orders in progress for defects to ensure compliance with manufacturing processes and quality management system (QMS) procedures. In addition to these technical tasks, you will set up, adjust, and operate hand and power tools that are common in the assembly and packaging processes. Effective communication with the Cell Manufacturing Lead and supervisor will be essential to resolve any issues that arise during the calibration process. This position requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to work well in a team environment, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of the production process.
