Onboard Systems Hoist & Winch, located in Anaheim, CA is one of the world’s leading providers of Search & Rescue (SAR) and Human External Cargo (HEC) advanced mission equipment for civil, commercial, and military helicopters.

Position Overview
The Calibration Technician inspects, tests, adjusts, and repairs instruments and equipment (like pressure gauges, electrical meters) to ensure they provide accurate measurements, following strict industry standards (ISO, AS9100, NIST, ANSI). The Calibration Technician performs proactive maintenance and troubleshooting of Onboard Systems equipment and documents the results to guarantee precision and compliance.

Requirements

• Must have 3+ years’ experience performing the following tasks
• Compare instrument readings against established standards, making adjustments for accuracy.
• Check equipment for defects, perform preventative maintenance, and execute repairs or upgrades.
• Record test results, maintenance performed, and update calibration records meticulously.
• Analyze out-of-spec readings, identify faults, and resolve equipment issues.
• Work with calibration software and tools to ensure adherence to quality standards (ISO, GMP).
• Install new or repaired equipment and parts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure instruments and equipment are calibrated correctly
• Establish specific testing procedures based on different technical specifications
• Identify and correct measurement errors
• Document data of each instrument
