About The Position

Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years’ experience as a Calibration Technician, ideally within the aerospace, manufacturing, or engineering industries
  • Ability to work within a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Quality Assurance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540.3 standards
  • Familiarity with Devonway
  • Familiarity with gage repeatability & reproducibility evaluations
  • Familiarity with statistical process analysis
  • Experience with SAP

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain the calibration database for all Archer Aviation locations
  • Manage schedules and relationship with Calibration suppliers to ensure timely responses to calibration requests
  • Develop procedures, as required, to perform routine calibration of precision measurement instruments, including but not limited to gauges, sensors, pressure testers, torque wrenches, and other related tools in-house
  • Ensure all new purchased equipment and instruments are properly documented and cataloged within the Calibration database
  • Ensure instruments conform to national and international standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, FAA, or other relevant bodies)
