As a Calibration Technician II at Boston Scientific, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Maple Grove Metrology team by addressing the calibration needs of our customers in manufacturing, research and development, and new product development. This position is essential for ensuring that test and measurement equipment (T&ME) operates accurately and reliably, which is vital for maintaining the high standards of quality and safety in the medical devices we produce. You will be responsible for completing both scheduled and unscheduled calibrations of T&ME, which will involve working both on-site and in the lab. In this role, you will maintain a daily work schedule with minimal supervision, demonstrating your ability to manage your time effectively and prioritize tasks. Communication is key, as you will need to keep equipment-owning departments informed about the status of calibrations. Additionally, you will coordinate calibration activities with outside service vendors to ensure that all equipment is calibrated according to industry standards. Continuous improvement is a core value at Boston Scientific, and you will be expected to contribute to the enhancement of calibration procedures for T&ME, ensuring that our processes remain efficient and effective. This position operates on a 1st shift schedule, typically from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, with workdays from Wednesday to Saturday or Sunday to Wednesday.
