Requirements

  • Associate degree in engineering technology (or related technical field) or equivalent work experience and training.
  • Ability to perform physical activities including stooping, crouching, walking, hearing, kneeling, reaching, talking, standing, crawling, pulling, grasping, light lifting (up to 23lbs.), visual acuity and pressing with fingers.
  • Able to use basic hand equipment including various hand tools, tachometers, resistance/multi-meters, thermocouples, weights, load cells, ultrasonic devices, Ph/Conductivity meters, RTDs, pressure/vacuum devices, and frequency/time instrumentation.
  • May require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel to other locations and sites
  • Ability to perform physical activities including stooping, crouching, walking, hearing, kneeling, reaching, talking, standing, crawling, pulling, grasping, light lifting (up to 23lbs.), visual acuity and pressing with fingers.
  • Available for overtime and emergency call-ins as dictated by business needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory or other formal calibration training.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems with instrumentation.
  • Strong organizational, math, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven understanding of FDA/ISO/GMP regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve calibration system issues.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain calibration documentation for compliance to GMP/ISO requirements.
  • Perform calibration activities.
  • Complete other required activities as assigned by management.
