Calibration Technician 2 (Night Shift)
About The Position
Calibration Specialist, Level 2 (Night Shift) Location: Portsmouth, NH. The shift schedule is from 6pm-6am each week: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday (8 hours overtime every other week and 20% pay differential for the Night Shift). The Calibration Specialist, Level 2 ensures instrumentation compliance by safely executing monthly planned maintenance and on-demand calibration tasks in accordance with cGMP procedures. This role requires foundational knowledge of electrical theory, troubleshooting, and instrumentation, along with proficiency in calibration software and Lonza processes. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- years of calibration, metrology and instrumentation experience.
- Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively.
- Basic communication protocol knowledge
- Basic computer skills and mechanical knowledge
Responsibilities
- Perform all work safely, adhering to GMP guidelines, SOP’s and work instructions.
- Perform routine calibration and maintenance work as assigned by Calibration Manager, supervisor, or Lead.
- Perform on demand calibration, repairs, and troubleshooting throughout the Portsmouth facility to ensure an inspection readiness state at all times.
- Complete safety and cGMP training including classes, reads, and technical requirements.
- Complete tasks and documentation using SAP, DMS, QMS, Excel, word or other software tools as required per GMP guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
