About The Position

The Calibration Lab Supervisor at A&P Calibrations Inc. is responsible for overseeing and training technicians in the calibration lab. This role involves performing complex troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of various test and measurement equipment, while also serving as the primary contact for customer inquiries related to laboratory equipment and calibrations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of instrument maintenance/calibration experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or related industries.
• 1 to 3 years of experience as a manager, supervisor, or lead technician.
• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Technology, or Engineering preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Computer literacy, including experience with calibration databases.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and provide leadership to in-house technicians.
• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of biotechnical, pharmaceutical, medical device, and mechanical test equipment.
• Conduct technician performance reviews and evaluations.
• Provide input to management regarding technician performance and customer relations.
• Act as the primary customer contact for laboratory equipment and calibration inquiries.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for technicians, management, customers, and the purchasing department.
