About The Position

This internship takes place in Farmington Hills, Michigan, the headquarters of Bosch North America, in the Calibration Engineering group of Power Solutions. Calibration is the process of finding the perfect parameters which make engines and vehicles perform at their best. These include supporting: Powertrain Calibration Projects In-vehicle and engine/chassis dyno testing; data analysis Adaptation and programming of automated test scripts Supporting Calibration Engineer's daily activities (flashing vehicles, analyzing data, validating software and data, etc.) Testing and validation of On-Board Diagnostics Support Test Trips in hot/cold/high altitude environments If you're interested to work in a collaborative, learning culture where interns work on meaningful projects, join our team! Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university and pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, with at least one semester completed
  • A minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Must work 35-40 hours per week
  • Valid US driver's license
  • Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
  • Future sponsorship for work authorization unavailable.
  • Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a drug screen and background check.
  • Candidates who have been offered the position must pass both screenings before their start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive-related hobby and/or experience working with engines or vehicles.
  • 1+ year academic or industry experience with software languages and operating systems.
