Requirements

  • Fluent in English
  • Engineering Degree required
  • Demonstrated experience in validation of automotive controlled systems
  • Good knowledge of control units, embedded & Real Time Operating Systems, sensors & actuators, automation, fluid & solid mechanics, thermodynamics, OBD1, OBDII/EOBD
  • High level of initiative and autonomy
  • Aptitude in leadership, communication, training and team motivation
  • Software: MS Office, Matlab, CANape/INCA, CANOE, CANGraph/Diadem, dSpace Automation desk, Doors: fluent
  • Problem solving
  • Data Analysis

Responsibilities

  • Manage all calibration activities for the project
  • Prioritize and coordinate calibration team in Alphatech
  • Primary customer contact for vehicle integration meetings of the SCR system
  • Support all customer validation trips in North America
  • Plan & Support POAI validation trips in North America & Europe
  • Support tank system validation at POAI
  • Manage Calibration Maturity according to the customers milestones
  • Be primary customer contact for diagnostic development, validation, & calibration
  • Assist customer on the development of on board diagnostics (OBD) documentation
  • Provide On-Site support of issues found at customer locations. (CREC & Proving Grounds)
  • Plan & Schedule vehicle usage for calibration development & functional validation
  • Develop the tuning test plan, the system validation plan and associated planning including cold and hot missions
  • Execute the tuning test plan and system validation plan with support of Troy and Alphatech laboratories and resources
  • Write associated technical reports and insure final calibration maturity
  • Support Troy laboratory to develop local know how on SCR calibration and system validation
  • Develops & maintains relevant know-how, capitalizes experience, ensures the diffusion of his knowledge
  • Identify and manage all means and parts needed for calibration and validation activities
  • Create deliverables (Calibration release notes, Diagnostic robustness assessment, Trip validation reports)
