Scope : Responsible for administrative portion of a compliant calibration program. This position requires the ability to multi-task along with strong attention to detail which is critical for this role. Work with little or minimal supervision to perform the following duties:

Requirements

  • Must have excellent PC skills, proficiency in the use of most Windows based software, both stand-alone software as well as equipment based. This includes, but is not limited to Word, AutoCAD, Excel, Project, and other standard programs.
  • Good verbal and written skills with an excellent command of the English language.
  • Must work well with all levels of the organization and have the ability to train others and work as a member of inter-disciplinary teams.
  • Basic technical writing skills and experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lead small projects both inside and outside calibration
  • Perform vendor negotiations for new equipment
  • Schedule outside vendors for onsite calibrations
  • Provide support for audits
  • Ability to adapt and learn new skills due to continually changing work environment.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work without direct supervision and a sense of urgency to meet production goals and customer expectations.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • High School GED required, Associate's degree preferred.
  • 1 year related manufacturing experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in data analysis and structured problem solving including publishing and documenting the results is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure accurate and reliable results
  • Maintain calibration records and documentation in accordance with quality standards
  • Collaborate with team members to improve calibration processes and procedures
  • Provide technical support and assistance to customers as needed
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Able to process all Send outs (INFOR, Shippers, Excel, Work) including: outgoing, receiving, repair.
  • Able to enter New Equipment processing (AS400)
  • Triage walk-in customers (AS400)
  • Able to process scrapping of equipment (AS400, Excel)
  • Able to process onsite Calibration Vendors
  • Able to enter administrative and procedures in ETQ (Word)
  • Monitor spreadsheets for equipment processing (Excel)
  • Enter the daily metrics for Calibration KPI (Excel)
  • Tracking down equipment for Calibration (Excel, AS400)
  • Coordinating production equipment calibrations (AS400, Word, Excel)
  • Database management (Word, Excel)
  • Minor project tracking (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
