About The Position

Calibration Associate Position Summary Monday-Thursday 6 PM-4 AM This position is 100% on-site in Winchester, Kentucky. Catalent’s Winchester location is the flagship US manufacturing location for large scale oral dose forms, with integrated analytical and development services. With 28 years of expertise in product development, technology transfers and commercial manufacturing, and roots in industry-leading Glatt technology. The Calibration Associate maintains compliance with the site calibration system and assists with the introduction of new instruments. The Calibration Associate documents results, troubleshoots equipment issues, and maintains compliance with quality and regulatory standards to support reliable, consistent operations.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma/GED Required. Associate's degree or vocational certificate in a related field preferred.
  • 1+ year experience in a pharmaceutical, food, or chemical manufacturing environment in a maintenance mechanic position.
  • Familiar with the use and operation of test equipment such as digital voltmeters, temperature probes, and pneumatic calibrators.
  • Prior experience with preventative maintenance programs or automated calibration management programs. Knowledge with servicing and operating building utility equipment such as boilers, air compressors, chillers, etc.
  • Individual may be required to sit or stand for an extended period of time. Individual may be required to bend, twist, squat, and kneel. Specific vision requirements include reading of written documents, equipment inspection and use of computer monitor.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all calibration records in accordance with standard operating procedures and cGMP for building, utility, and production equipment instrumentation
  • Perform scheduled calibrations on equipment and maintain calibration data files
  • Perform necessary repairs to critical instruments as needed
  • Performs any other duties as assigned to support the calibration program or the department goals
  • Other duties as required in support of Catalent Pharma Solutions high performance
