The Cake Maker position at Paris Baguette involves creating high-quality cakes in a new upscale bakery cafe. This role offers opportunities for growth as the company plans to open additional locations. Employees will receive training from experienced team members who have been trained at the Paris Baguette headquarters in New York.

  • Responsible for making whole cakes, slice cakes, and decorating cakes.
  • Carrying out operations and productions that take place in the kitchen.
  • Following caking recipes and preparing all desserts.
  • Preparing all needed materials and ingredients.
  • Maintaining sanitization procedures and overall cleanliness of the work station and kitchen.
  • Demonstrating general knowledge of production methods and organization of cake production.
  • Prioritizing and finishing all tasks assigned for daily caking.
  • Ensuring the workplace is safe and hygienic for all employees and guests.
  • Receiving, stocking, and storing food in designated containers and storage areas in an organized manner.
  • Informing supervisors when equipment is not working properly and managing when food supplies are getting low.
  • Completing various reports for records such as production, usage, and waste.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.
