You will work with various decorating tools like bags, tips, and nozzles to create decorative elements on bakery items. Adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management is crucial. The position requires operating, maintaining, and sanitizing equipment, and understanding product and layout execution. You will leverage digital tools to enhance sales, improve the shopping experience, and boost associate engagement, using handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, ordering, training, and product quality. The role also entails managing the bakery area's performance, ensuring quality and date control, minimizing waste, and preparing for seasonal events such as holidays and graduations. You will identify member needs, assist with purchasing decisions, and resolve concerns. As a brand advocate, you will model high-quality service, interact with associates to address roadblocks, and assist in their training and development in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented manner.
