About The Position

Cake Decorator will be responsible for fulfilling orders in the Custom Cake department as well as working closely with the pastry chef and helping them fulfill all other incoming orders. Your skills in cake decorating and baking should be matched by your creativity to innovate and create new product offerings. You MUST have knowledge of working with fondant and buttercream designs. You will also be trained and responsible for stacking and filling cakes. Please submit your applications with your portfolio, social media links or website where we can view your work. Cake Decorator will be working directly with Cake coordinator and responsible for fulfilling all custom cake and sweets orders as well as assisting our pastry chef with their pastry orders. Your skill in cake decorating and baking should be matched by your creativity to innovate and create new product offerings. Must monitor and maintain quality of all products and their presentation. Work closely with pastry chef and help oversee all aspects of the daily operation of pastry production areas. Know and comply with all sanitation standards. Must be a team player and must be able to handle conflict resolution of staff as needed. Must have a strong work ethic. Must be reliable, flexible with responsibilities and help pitch in with other responsibilities when necessary. Must speak English, speaking other languages is a plus.
