McKinley Ave - Mishawaka, Indiana 46545 Cake Decorator Reports to: Cake Room Manager and Central Bakery Manager Job Profile: Clerk 3, Cake Decorator-Central Bakery Business Title: Cake Decorator-Central Bakery Position Summary: Responsible for preparing and decorating products for delivery to the store locations. General knowledge of cake decorating: Icing, writing with icing, and making roses. Follow safe, sanitary food handling policy to prevent contamination and food borne illnesses. Starting Wage: $17.00-$19.00 (based on experience) Start Time: Normally 6am with some close shifts of 9am-5:30pm Monday, Wednesday-Saturday (Sunday and Tuesday Off) Overtime frequent and required Schedule may change on production needs and holidays Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) Experience: No experience required. Decorating experience preferred.
Requirements
- Basic math and reading skills, ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible work schedule, weekend availability, occasional Tuesday, Sunday, and holidays are required.
- Ability to lift up to 30+ lbs.
- Read and understands pass-out sheets along with understanding Special Orders.
- Be able to work independently and with others.
- Requires constant bending, stretching, pulling/pushing and good eye/hand coordination, repetitive wrist motion.

- Decorating experience preferred.

- Clean work areas, take out trash, mop floors, restock packaging and labels.
- Varies according to production needs, occasionally may have to work in other production areas.
